Harold A. Harrell, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Mr. Harold A. Harrell has served as a trusted business advisor to organizations for more than 50 years. As chief financial officer and treasurer of First Capital Group, he directs the firm’s fiscal assets and plays an integral role in developing its investment strategy and managing its vast operations. 

As First Capital Group’s in-house expert on business regulations and industry compliance, Mr. Harrell counsels the firm’s portfolio businesses and commercial properties on setting sound financial strategies and goals ensuring compliant accounting practices; administering fiscal controls; restructuring debt; transferring assets and stock; managing liquidity; evaluating and managing insurance policies; and assessing and mitigating corporate risk.  Mr. Harrell formerly served as a partner in the Bloomington, Indiana law firm of Andrews, Harrell, Mann, Carmin & Parker, where he focused on business and corporate law, estate planning, and probate administration. He received his Doctor of Law (J.D.) and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Indiana University. Mr. Harrell is also a certified mediator and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Formerly, he was a member of Old National Bank’s board of directors. Mr. Harrell served as president of the Villages of Indiana, Inc., and president of the Bloomington Advancement Corporation. He has held memberships on numerous other community boards and commissions.
